The Green Belt XL software is a bundle, containing our SPC IV Excel software (an Excel Com-Add) and a copy of MindGenius, a stand-alone mind mapping software which contains numerous tools useful for Six Sigma teams. Each of these can be purchased separately for $235 (or less for multiple licenses).
The reviewer is perhaps unfamiliar with the concept of statistical process control, an integral part of Six Sigma methodology. (The software publisher's president Paul Keller has written numerous works on both topics, including Six Sigma Demystified and SPC Demystified, both McGraw Hill publications). The full complement of analysis options and professional graphics provided to the quality professional make the software an incredible value. The reviewer apparently did not even review Mind Genius, which as noted above provides many useful tools for the Six Sigma professional.
